Colin originally joined Airey & Coles in 1997 as a technician with a HNC in Building Studies and worked in the practice for seven years. He returned in 2018 having successfully gained skills and experience as a steel fabrication detailer, working on many high profile local projects such as the Plymouth Incinerator.

With over three decades of working in structural engineering Colin is highly skilled in understanding technical aspects of a broad range of construction designs.  He is enthusiastic, enjoys the variety of work each project offers and takes care in the production of engineering drawings, utilising the accuracy he gained as a steel detailer.
