Garry has been at Airey & Coles since 2005 after graduating the University of Plymouth with a degree in Civil and Coastal Engineering, since this time Garry has progressed through the ranks, becoming a Partner in late 2018.

Garry is a skilled Engineer and has been involved in a number of high profile and varied projects. His experience combined with excellent technical ability and project management skills allow Garry to find efficient, economic and practical solutions and apply them effectively to any project.

Since achieving Chartered status in 2014 Garry has remained heavily involved with the Institution of Civil Engineers as an officially registered development mentor. Garry currently mentors a number of graduates both within the company and externally; providing assistance and guidance through their initial development with the ultimate goal of preparing them for professional review.

At Partner level Garry is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the office, peer reviewing designs and keeping abreast of current legislation and updates to design codes and standards.

Garry’s enthusiasm and competitiveness are traits which he exhibits on all tasks both inside and out of the office. His drive and the high standards he sets are synonymous with Airey & Coles.
