Nigel joined Airey & Coles in 2005 having originated from a steelwork detailing and fabricating background.
Many years ago, Nigel studied at Cornwall College where he attained a TEC in Civil Engineering and a Higher TEC in Building Studies. Since then his experience gained over many years in resolving and coordinating details with all disciplines of the building industry are a key asset and this is an attribute he continues to promote.
Nigel’s project and team management skills are second to none. Nigel regularly acts as the client interface for the company and oversees a team of technicians on all projects he is involved in – providing a vital link between all facets of the design team.
Nigel always makes sure that he is aware of the client’s requirements in today’s modern environment, where practical and cost-effective solutions, together with stringent timescales a diligent approach are required to deliver the project.
Outside of work Nigel likes to spend time with his family and grandchildren as well as helping out with his local rugby club where over the years he has taken on many of the committee positions. Although after taking a backwards step, nowadays he can be seen and heard cheering from the touchline with the odd glass of refreshment in his hand.
