Rory graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2022 with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering. During his studies he developed an interest in structural design, writing his dissertation on CHS sections subjected to pure axial load to study buckling behaviour.

During Rory’s time so far with Airey & Coles he has worked on a wide range of projects, designing elements of residential housing and retaining structures, as well as completing technical drawings. He is motivated to continue developing his technical skills and gain a wider knowledge of the industry from planning to construction stage.

In his spare time Rory loves being outdoors, taking part in numerous running events, and often fly-fishing in Devon.
